Bio
My name is Terri Wells. I grew up in Penfield, Pennsylvania. I will save my story of my personal walk with Jesus to share with you from the pulpit. But I will share that I did not grow up in a church going family. Both of my parents have passed on. I have one unmarried brother, who I pray for daily. I have not walked a perfect path in this life, I praise Jesus for hanging on to me and not letting me go, even when I was trying to make my own way without him. I have two sons, Keith Crawford and Jason Crawford from my first marriage. Keith is soon to be 45 and married to Lisa. They have two children Madelyn and Kodi. He is a teacher at a State Correctional Prison out east and is a former Marine and Army National Guard Veteran. My other son, Jason is 36 and married to Kim. They have two sons, Cullen and Liam and reside in Wiesbaden, Germany. He is on year 18 for the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers in the Army. Ron, my husband and I met in 2004. We married in 2006. He is my best friend. Ron has a daughter Alicia Moore. She is married to Pat and resides in NuMine with their two sons, Peyton and Tanner. Ron also has an adult special needs son, Nathan Wells who resides in a group home in Black Lick. We will have Nathan with us sometimes, because we bring him home for weekend visits through out the year.
I attended Penn State University from 1996-2000. I have a BS in Administration of Justice and a minor in Psychology. I have held the following occupations; Fashion Bug Plus Ast Manager, Asst Deputy Warden of Treatment for Clearfield County Jail, Correctional Counselor for Indiana County Jail, Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist, TSS, Bank Teller, Caseworker for Jefferson County Children and Youth and Indiana County Children and Youth, and Forensic Interviewer of children of sexual abuse. I am currently the Foster Care Coordinator for Indiana County Children and Youth.
I attended Penfield United Methodist church, starting at the age of 10. Was confirmed as a member of that church at the age of 14. I transferred my membership to the Smicksburg United Methodist Church around 2006. I have held the following positions within the church, Admin Council Leader, Women’s Group Leader, Vacation Bible School Leader, Youth Group Leader, Sunday School Leader along with other non-leading positions. I sang in the Church Choir in Penfield for over 20 years (that does not say I sing well). I completed my Local Pastor Licensing School in Spring of 2022. I served as the Supply Pastor from July 1 of 2021 till my graduation from school and appointment in the spring of 2022, to the Allegheny River Charge. I serve in the Ford Memorial United Methodist Church and The Manorville United Methodist Church three Sundays a month and the last Sunday, I serve Union United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Kittanning.
My personal interests are painting, crafts, bowling, hunting and watching a good movie.
I Pray “My heart will always be open, my ears will always listen, my arms will always hug and I pray my words will let you find your way or help you with your walk with Christ.” Amen
