Born and raised in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. I enrolled at Slippery Rock University were I majored in History and minored in Political Science, and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts. After graduation, I attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2013. After graduation, I worked part time as a youth director at Korean United Presbyterian Church. While there I worked retail at both Party City then Game Stop. I left my position at the church and Game Stop and briefly worked in management of a movie theater, but promptly left and returned to Game Stop. During this time I filled pulpit supply at various churches and continued to do so until 2022. During the pandemic, I left retail and started working at Mars Home for Youth (Longmore Academy) as a Teacher’s Aid, where I am currently employed. This past year I was given the opportunity to serve at Christ Community Church and Sheraden United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh.
I am married to my loving wife Amanda for the past 9 years. Amanda is currently seeking ordination in the Presbyterian Church USA. We met at Seminary and continue to have similar interests. We enjoy spending time doing similar activities. Amanda is supportive of me through some of my hardest trials. I have been by her side during some of her tribulations.
In my free time I enjoy a variety of activities such as reading comic books, playing video games, table top games, and reading science fiction/fantasy novels. I also enjoy outdoors activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting.
