Bio
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and moved to Pittsburgh in 1976 to attend Duquesne University, majoring in Music Education. After a long career teaching computer classes (see below), I attended Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge PA, graduating in 2014 with a Master of Divinity, and was ordained priest in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2017.  My ordination service took place at Carnegie United Methodist Church and featured a 20-voice choir made up of Presbyterians, Methodists, and Anglicans – a foretaste of the variety that will be found in the heavenly choir!

Before attending seminary I taught computer classes for many years, specializing in teaching end-users Microsoft Office software. I was also the owner of a home-based computer consultancy, Computer Training & Applications, founded in 1989. I still teach a computer class or two every semester, usually in Microsoft Excel, at Community College of Beaver County. I was also a church music director for over 30 years in a variety of churches and denominations. My varied experience has led to a lifelong interest in ecumenical relations and cross-denominational ministries, and in the past few years I have become active (as time permits) in Christian Associates of Western PA.

In 2014 I began serving at both the South Hills Partnership of United Methodist Churches (preaching on an as-needed basis) and Incarnation Church (an Anglican church plant) on a part-time basis. I also actively support KCEP - Kenya Christian Education Partnership – founded by a seminary classmate, which provides a school and education support to the children of both Christian and Muslim families in northern and central Kenya.

In July 2021 I was assigned to a permanent part-time charge as Associate Pastor of the South Hills Partnership, and it's a joy to put down roots and begin to make plans for ministry together.

In my personal life, I have lived in Mt. Washington and Sewickley and now live in Carnegie with my husband Neil, two cats (Apache and Bella) and two foster cats (Tommy TomCat and Strider). Neil has two grown children (I'm a stepmom) and together we are grandparents of four beautiful grandchildren. In my spare time I like to travel, do gardening (both flowers and food), take walks around the neighborhood, and read (particularly British authors). And on my days off I enjoy watching old movies on TCM.
