During the spring of 2020, I acknowledged and accepted Gods call to enter into Pastoral ministry within the UM church. I successfully completed Licensing school in the Spring of 2022 and will begin Course of study in the fall.
My current appointment has me serving as a licensed local pastor of the Cherrytree/Worden Chapel/Cooperstown Charge in the Franklin District. God has called me to service within the underserved rural churches in our district.
Born and raised in Cranberry Township, Venango County, I am a graduate of Cranberry High School and Venango Technology Center. I have been blessed to be part of a wonderful family, including my mother, sister and two adorable pets Midnight (cat) and Zoey (dog).
For over 14 years I have served as the Office Administrator for the Jacob A. Weaver/Willis E. Sommers Companies in Cochranton, PA.
I also have a passion for cooking and any Sunday at my home, I might feed up to 20 hungry relatives.
My faith journey has taken me through the Nazarene and catholic churches before I found my spiritual home within the Methodist faith at Seneca UMC. In the Summer of 2011, God called me to baptism and full communion with his Holy church.
Since that time, he has called me to many of his ministries, including teaching Sunday School, Children’s Church, and Vacation Bible School, and community breakfasts. I have completed the basic course in the Lay servant class and attended the 2020 spring Lay Pastoral Care Giving.
God is the solid rock I have stood upon over my lifetime. My life verse is Philippians 4:6 6
Do not [e]
be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
I am a worry wart. And God has carried me through countless times in my life. So, this verse is a strong reminder to put our trust and faith in him!
