Bio
I was raised in Chicago by my adoptive parents, and attended a Lutheran grade and high school there. I studied psychology and associated subjects at Joliet Junior College, and became a member of Mensa. I have three adult children by previous marriages that live in Illinois, as well as one granddaughter. I have held several former occupations: ballet teacher, dog breeder (Collies), secretary, administrative assistant, owner/manager of a Chicago Tribune agency for 12 years, and was working as the owner/manager of a Christian bookstore when the Lord called me into ministry, first as a lay servant and then as a pastor. I served as the pastor of Mazon UMC for 5 years (2015-2020), and Braceville UMC for 3 years (2017-2020). I have been married to Ed since 2002, we bought our home in Conneaut Lake in October 2019, and moved here in June 2020 after being appointed to Deckards UMC and Sugar Lake UMC beginning July 1, 2020. In July 2021, I was appointed as pastor of Cochranton UMC as well, which is now part of a three-point charge with Deckards and Sugar Lake. My personal hobbies are gardening, running, photography, and writing poetry. Ed collects 45's and record albums and enjoys drag racing.
