Pastor Don was born and raised in Pittsburgh's North Side and his family history goes back to the City of Allegheny. He was baptized in Perrysville UMC on Perrysville Ave. 
Before Pastor Don entered ministry, he worked as an employee benefit and tax paralegal.
Pastor Don have served in many capacities as a Layperson; As a clergyperson, Pastor Don have served in the Callensburg Charge (Franklin) , Kantner Church (CV), Asbury Church (CV), and Homestead Park (Pittsburgh). 
He lives in Shaler Twp; his wife, Julie, works for UPMC Passavant. They share their home with a dog, cat and beautiful python. Pastor Don enjoys gardening, baseball, motorcycling and biking among many interests.
