I was born in Reading, PA but our family moved to Williamsport, PA when I was 11. Montoursville became the place of my teenage years and the place I would always call home. After high school, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant in the Cancer Research labs at Allegheny General Hospital for 26 years. Following the call to ministry, I attended and graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2003 with a Master of Divinity degree.
I am a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and have served in many capacities. As a student pastor, I served Muhleman Memorial in N. Braddock from 2001 until 2007. In 2007, I was appointed to First United Methodist and Kephart Memorial United Methodist both located in McKeesport, PA. In 2017, I was appointed to the Templeton Charge which was quickly followed in 2018 by my appointment to the Allegheny River Charge in Kittanning, PA.
My husband, George and I have been married since 1982 and we are the parents of 1 daughter, Whitney, who continues to reside in McKeesport. My favorite pastime is to read a good book on the beach. Since I have yet to receive an appointment on the shores of the Carolinas, I am content to read a good book anywhere I am. I love serving the Lord and God's people and believe that joy should be the hallmark of faith.
