Bio
David Bunnell is an Elder who served 6 churches in the Western Pennsylvania Conference.  Retiring after 38 years of service, he and his wife Ellen moved to Johnstown, Pa. and are enjoying being closer to sons David and Nathan and their families in Maryland and Johnstown and traveling to daughter Amanda and her family in Irvine, California.  Six grandchildren, Julian, Jackie, Samantha, Caleb, Zoe and Ari are their joy.  In June of 2021 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Dave has served both as chairperson of the Western Pennsylvania Prison Outreach Ministry (wpapom.org) and teaching a faith based program, Threshold, at Loretto FCI to over 130 men.  As an Intentional Interim, Dave has consulted and pastored on the Johnstown District with the Alum Bank and Calvary churches and is currently serving the Calvary church.  Ellen and Dave also minister to churches throughout the US and Canada with Close Encounters Ministries (cemlife.com) with Ellen’s writing.
