Bio
I love being a minister. The most exciting aspect of ministry for me is watching people grow in faith and churches grow in ministry and revitalization. It started when I was a child growing up on a small farm in the mountains between Uniontown and Somerset. I would love to cultivate the crops and watch them grow and enjoy the taste of hand-picked produce. My high school education at Turkeyfoot Valley produced a love of learning which only deepened at Dickinson College. It was a natural fit to attend Candler School of Theology which was one of the first schools to attempt to blend theological education and the practice of ministry. I have served various churches throughout Western Pa. where communities were struggling because of factory closings and people moving away yet theses churches grew. I have served suburban Pittsburgh churches and shared with those who professed faith and were wonderful assets to the church. I have served in a county seat community where the church needed to develop their children's ministry and doing so has revitalized the church. I love being a minister.
