Born, Raised and Educated: Born and raised in Avonmore, PA, Graduated in 1959 from Bell-Avon High School, Salina, Pa.; Attended Prince Georges Community College, Suitland, MD, University of Maryland, College Park, MD; American Institute of Banking, Warren, PA, Robert Morris Associates, Pgh, PA and graduated from Duke University Divinity School, Course of Study, Durham, NC. I took numerous management courses through Marine Bank, as well as Executive Leadership courses and Sales Management courses through the Forum Corp., as well as the Dale Carnegie Course, Warren, PA.
Pre-Church Work Experience: Worked for Northwest Savings Bank in l998-2006 (8 yrs.) as Senior Loan Officer/Manager; PNC Bank 1969-1998 (29 yrs.) (Formerly Warren Nation Bank & Marine Bank) as Assistant Vice President/Manager; Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. for 5 yrs.
Appointment History & Church Service: Served as Interim Pastor at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Warren in 1997 before I attended seminary. I served as Part-time Local Pastor at the Grand Valley & Sanford United Methodist Churches from July 1, 1997 to September 1, 2014 (17 yrs.) In retirement i served as Interim Pastor at Covenant United Methodist Church from Nov. 1, -Dec. 31, 2014. I served as Supply Pastor for Otterbein United Methodist Church in Pittsfield from Aug. 2-Oct. 12, 2015. In retirement I was appointed by Bishop Bickerton to serve throughout the Kane District where needed. I was then asked to come out of retirement and serve Covenant United Methodist in Warren on July 1, 2017 to the present.
Family & Personal Interests: music, reading, exercising, eating out with family & friends.
