Graduated HS 1969 Attended Edinboro State College 2 Years, transferred to Indiana U of Pa. graduated in 1973 BA Degree in Sociology/Anthropology. Masters Degree from Edinboro University in Clinical Psychology 1989
Began Work at Meadville Police Dept July 1974 as patrol officer. promoted through the Ranks to Cpl,, Detective Sgt. Assistant Chief and became Chief of Police in 2001. retired in 2005.
Attended FBI National Academy in 1993.
Began preaching at Norrisville UMC in 1996. License to preach school same year.
began Course of Study approx 1998 at ALPS in Ky. Finished in 9 Years.
Appointed to Valley Church in Conneautville and Hickernell UMC along with Norrisville church approx 2000?.
Resigned from this charge but was reappointed again for a brief time due to a legal issue with the pastor there.
After 4 months there I was given Brown Hill and Teepleville and served there until 2012, and then Retired from Ministry.
Recently I was re-appointed to Brown Hill in August of 2019, and Teepleville July of 2020.
I have two children, Jessica Lewis and her family of Saegertown and her three Children. Mark Acker and his wife and 4 children in Miamisburg, O.
I was married for 45 Years to Rose (Walp)Acker. She died of brain Cancer April 18, 2019.
I have Hiked all the Appalachian Trail. I have been on Missions trips to Jamaica, Paraguay, Montana, West Va. and N. Carolina. I do a little woodworking, I walk and run for exercise.
