Born in Plattsburgh, NY; raised in Goshen, IN, Middleton, WI, Council Bluffs, IA, and Ridgway, PA. 
Graduated from Ridgway HS in 1976
Graduated from Asbury College (now University) in 1981
Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1986
Started Seminary at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2011
Started Course of Study at Duke Divinity School in 2015
Short Term Mission to Paraguay in 1980
Mission trip to Belarus in 2010
I recently retired from a nearly 40yr. career, working in the medical field as a Medical Technologist.  Prior to being officially appointed to ministry, I was quite active in church activities; serving as Lay Leader from 1987 to 2007, Youth coordinator and Adult Sunday School teacher.  I was first appointed to Edeburn and Donahey UM churches in 2007, and then to Penfield UMC in 2013.
My wife, Kim, and I have three grown children, Erin, Hunter and Ashton; a Sheltie, Abbie; and a kitten, Gracie.  Since 2018, my parents have also been living with us until my Mom passed away this February.  Dad suffers from dementia and cannot be left unattended.  I am a genealogy and family history fanatic, having traced multiple generations of families both backwards and forward.  I enjoy working with stained glass and wood; walking and biking the nearby rail trails, and fishing.  I see God's handiwork in everything, the beauty of our created universe and the orchestration of His will in our lives.
