  • Graduated from Westminster College 1984 (BS in Mathematics/minor Secondary Education)

  • Various jobs as a young adult (millworker, truck driver, mechanic)
  • Math and Computer Programing teacher 9 years, Buckhorn HS, New Market, Al
  • Math teacher 27 years, Maplewood HS, Guys Mills Pa
  • Internal Coach Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Program (PBIS)
  • Coached Football, Basketball and Track at various times throughout my teaching career
  • Retired from teaching in 2021

  • One appointment New Richmond UMC and North Richmond UMC
  • Currently at New Richmond after a church merger in 2019
  • Appointed to Little Cooley UMC 2020

• Passions/Gifts for Ministry:
  • First and foremost, teaching, I love to work with others to help them discover a deeper understanding of God’s love
  • Meeting people where they are and helping them to move forward in the love of God
  • Love of everyone and seeing the good in all
  • Working with people and reaching consensus

• Family & Personal Interests:
  • My wife of 34 years name is Ann, my teammate in Christ
  • I have two grown daughters who live in the Pittsburgh area, both of home are married
  • My wife and I became grandparents for the first time in the past year

  • I retired from teaching in June of 2021
  • I feel truly blessed that God and the United Methodist Church chose me to serve in the roll of Local Pastor
