John D. Mize is a graduate of American Public University (Psychology) and United Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity).
John’s wife Valerie serves as pastor of Roxbury St Paul's UMC . They have 2 daughters: Sydney and Sophie, two cats: Skip and Pierogie, and a golden retriever named Grace.
This is John's second pastorate, as he is answering the call to ministry as a second career. He has formerly served two churches near Blairsville, PA. John and Valerie created and managed Zeitgeist Drama Ministries, an ecumenical ministry performing musical and dramatic programs all over western PA.
John is on fire for the Lord and loves sharing his faith and love of Christ. Anyone who knows John has heard his favorite phrase, "Don't tell me what God can't do!" and here at Westmont we cannot wait to see what amazing things God will do next! Join us on the journey and see for yourself!
