Chad Bogdewic was born in Hartford, CT and after his adoption was raised in Beallsville, PA, south of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Geibel Catholic High School, earned a BS in Business Administration from California University of PA, an MDiv, a Certificate in Urban Ministry, and an STM focused on Old Testament theology and Christian social ethics from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Before pastoral ministry, he worked for Centerville Clinics, Inc. as the Assistant Director of Grants and Support Services. After a few years, he left that position to pursue seminary full time.
Chad has served a variety of settings, including the Greene/Hills Fairmount Charge, the Associate Pastor position at Concord in Beaver Falls, the Wurtemburg/Koppel charge, and most recently the Oakland Ave.: Sharon/Sharpsville First charge, which is part of the Greater Shenango Valley Cooperative Parish. In addition to the local church, he serves as the co-chair for the Disability Concerns committee and on the Fundraising Team for the Disability Committee of the denomination.
He loves justice related ministries and ministries that welcome the whole person. He loves teaching, preaching, and reaching out to the forgotten and lost.
He is married to the love of his life, Patty, and together they have two children, Eliyana, and Jonathan. Chad enjoys reading commentaries and comic books, watching science-fiction, and spending time with his family.
