Bio
Gloria Jun was born and raised in South Korea. In 2004, she immigrated to the United States with her husband Rev. Jong Man Lee and her two kids, Grace and Ian. Her crucial encounter with Christ was in 2010 by His Word, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is near” (Matt 5:17), which transformed her and the aim of her life.
By God’s overwhelming grace and love she began to visit people to share the gospel, which led her to enter Pittsburgh Theological Seminary to become a pastor. She graduated from the seminary in 2018 and became a full elder in Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference in 2021. She has served at Verona charge in Pittsburgh District from 2017 to 2019. After that, she has been serving Circleville United Methodist Church in Greensburg District.
Gloria has her ministry vision, which is to revive hearts and minds that are entrusted to her to care, so that people may experience God’s kingdom in everyday life through the change of their hearts. In order for them to experience it, she believes God uses her weaknesses and vulnerability as a witness of Christ. Her gifted strength is delivering God’s message through singing, which often enables people to be moved and inspired in spirit.
Her husband, Jong Man Lee, as a full member of Korean Methodist denomination has been ministering at Pittsburgh Korean Methodist Church since 2010. Grace and Ian have graduated from University of Pittsburgh. Grace is now living in South Korea with her job and Ian is in Pittsburgh working and preparing for a graduate school.
