Pastor Robert B. Stultz, 79, of Fishertown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2019, and is finally free from this world of sin and is finally with Jesus.
Born on Nov. 8, 1939, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Gladys Stultz. In 1959, he married Patti (Oravec) Stultz from Somerset County. His passing ended nearly 60 years of marriage.
They raised five children and 11 grandchildren (six married), eight great-grandchildren, and grandson Joshua in heaven, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are siblings Daniel, Bonnie and JoAnne.
Pastor Stultz served part-time as pastor of Beaverdale United Methodist Church from 1997 until 2008, when he retired. In retirement, he served one year at Trinity and Trinity Asbury UMCs in Johnstown.
Bob was a member of the Family Worship Center. He was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 31 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Imler, with interment at the Cuppett Cemetery in New Paris.
