Rev. Bruce K. Northey, 59, of McMurray passed away on Friday July 28, 2017.
He was the beloved son of Meredith Northey Goodwin and the late William Northey; brother of Michelle (Robert) Lee; and former husband of Connie Stopka Northey.
Ordained a deacon in 1990 and an elder in 1994, Rev. Northey served as a pastor in Cambridge Springs, an associate at Bakerstown UMC, pastor of Millvale and Sharpsburg UMCs; Charleroi First UMC, Monessen and Webster UMCs and Greenock UMC in McKeesport before going on medical leave in 2013.
Family and friends were to be received at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes,inc. 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A memorial services was scheduled at Trinity United Methodist Church, 530 Center Church Road, McMurray, PA 15317 on Wednesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or any of his previous churches.
