On May 3, 2018, at the age of 72, Jim went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a resident of Franklin Park.
Ordained an elder in The Western PA Conference of The United Methodist Church in 1975, Rev. Kramer served as associate pastor of Warren: First 1975-1978; and Mount Lebanon UMC1978- 1982. He served as director of Metowers senior highrise community in Bellevue Director: Metowers April 29, 1983-January 1, 1990; then served as pastor of Canonsburg: First UMC before moving to McKeesport where he served : Beulah Park UMC for six years, then Christy Park UMC and Bell Chapel, before returning to Bellevue in 2003 to serve at Greenstone UMC. He retired from active ministry in 2007
Rev. Kramer is survived by his loving family; wife Anne Kramer; his children Dr. James W. Kramer, Jr. (Kim), Jessica Kramer; stepson Steve Spak (Kristen); sister Sharon Haramic (Mark); grandchildren, Hayden, Nate and Jonathan.
A memorial service was scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the chapel at Orchard Hill Church, 2551 Brandt School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to Eleos Fund at Orchard Hill to support their Haiti Mission.
