Cheryl Anne Hildbold, 63, of Jennerstown, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021. She is a daughter of the late Grant Abrams and Dolores and William Brown.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Chuck Hildbold Jr.; children, Charlie (Carolann) Hildbold, Carrie (Ben) Floyd, Caitlin (Scott) Huber and Caleb (Stephanie) Hildbold; and 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Grant (Bonnie) Abrams; sister Diane (Bob) Smith; step-brother Barry (Lynn) Brown and step-sister Jyl (Jack) Cox.
Cheryl met the love of her life at Grove City College. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and faithful pastor’s wife. She loved teaching Sunday School, singing and spending quality time with her family. Above all, she loved and served Jesus.
She enjoyed sewing for herself and her family, climbing lighthouses, reading Christian novels, and exploring covered bridges. It was a joy to read to and rock her grandchildren to sleep. She loved to plan and take trips, host her open houses and parsonage dinners, and was a skilled writer who wrote many newsletter articles called Ponderings from the Pastor’s Partner. She was beloved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
