Rev. Patti Fuller, 55, of Lawrence Park, PA entered eternity on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was an ordained deacon who served churches and as a chaplain in the Erie-Meadville District.
Born March 15, 1963 in Erie to Ruth Moody Lewis and the late Robert Harry Lewis, she was a member of the Iroquois High School class of 1981 and a graduate of Slippery Rock University and Asbury Theological Seminary, where she earned her M.Div. degree.
She worked in various ministries throughout her career, including as minister of music at South Harborcreek UMC, staff chaplain at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and various chaplaincy positions including the Presbyterian Homes and Wesbury Community in Meadville.
Patti had a gift for music; she was involved in the Ministers Chorus of the Western PA Conference and the Presque Isle Chorale and shared her gift in the many churches in which she served and worshiped.
Patti is survived by her husband of 21 years, Pastor Robert P. Fuller; her two sons, Robert Wesley and Patrick; her mother Ruth; her brother Dr. Christopher Lewis and his wife Mindy; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends, especially Cindy and Roger Dougan of Harborcreek, who opened their home to Patti and the family during her time with Hospice. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Lewis.
Friends may call at the South Harborcreek United Methodist Church, on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 3 pm conducted by Pastor Keith McGarvey. Private interment will take place at South Harborcreek Cemetery.
