Lois Maxine Dunn, 78, of Frederick, Md., passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Rev. Paul (PD) Dunn for over 50 years.
Born Jan. 29, 1940, she was the devoted daughter of the late Howard and Mary Jane Beisel. Lois always loved Jesus and is now resting in his loving arms.
Rev. Dunn was ordained an elder in 1971 and the couple served the following churches in Western PA: Scenery Hill/Davidson 1970-1971; Boston 1971-74; New Castle: Savannah 1974-1976; Johnstown: Summit Chapel/Mineral Point 1976-1980; Conemaugh: First 1980-1987; Paradise/Bridgeport 1987-1989; Rural Valley/Whitesburg 1989-1993; Westmoreland Charge 1993-1995; South Greensburg 1995-1999, and East McKeesport 1999-2002; He retired from full-time ministry in 2002.
Lois' enjoyment of flowers, nature and birds enriched many. Her creativity with magnificent crafts as well as delicious delicacies delighted hearts of her friends and family. They have a good hope of enjoying her gifts again in Jesus' kingdom and they will miss her until then. She is survived by her children, David Dunn, Linda Dunn and Eric Dunn. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Paul.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Potomac Believers Fellowship, 3525 Petersville Road, Knoxville, MD 21758. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody, P.A. in Frederick, Md.
