A celebration of the life of the Rev. Florence "Flo" Clark, 83, of Knox Dale, Pa., was scheduled for 2 p.m., Jan. 16, 2016 at the Knox Dale UM Church. She passed to her heavenly home on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.
Florence is survived by her five children: Rev. Charles S. Clark, Jr. (Diane), of McKinleyville, Calif.; Jeffrey Clark of Decatur, Ga.; Joseph Clark (April) of Terre Haute, Ind.; Linda Lazzeroni, Tucson, Ariz.; and Miriam Barker, Huntington, Ind.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also thought fondly of Luster Barker who, along with Miriam, was at Flo's side as she passed.
She was predeceased by her 10 siblings: Lawrence (at age 1), Lyle, Wayne, Charles, James, Nial, Fern, Alice, Elmer and Bill.
Rev. Clark leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, faith and forgiveness, and loved ones who feel a huge void with her passing. In her ministry she served as a full-time local pastor for congregations at Country Hills, Penn and Meadowlands/Fawcett UMCs from 1981-85 and served many years as chaplain at nursing homes and retirement communities.
Rev. Jerome Kennedy and Linda Lazzeroni were to officiate at the celebration of life service.
