Faye I. Beck, 93, of Brookville, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville. She was the surviving spouse of the Rev. Wilbert G. Beck, who died in October of 2003.
Born Sept. 21, 1921, in Sligo, she was a daughter of the late Orville Myers and Ida Burns Myers. She was married to Wilbert G. Beck on Sept. 23, 1945, in Sligo.
Faye worked as a crew leader for Owens Illinois in Clarion for 35 years. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie J. Sherman of Brookville; a son, Thomas G. Beck of Lawson, Mo.; a younger sister, Althea Cropp of Oil City; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Doretha F. Beck; two sisters, Bula Willison and Alma Hall; and two brothers, William Myers and Miller Myers.
A funeral service was held . Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville with the Rev. Nancy Zahn officiating. Burial was in Cedarview Memorial Park, Strattanville.
