I. Lucille Meuschke, age 80, of Valencia, widow of the Rev. Dr. Paul J. Meuschke, died on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Born on May 17, 1933 in Russelton, PA, she was the daughter of the late George & Sophia (Rosnick) Lewis. Beloved wife for 56 years of the late Dr. Paul J.
Meuschke, who passed away March 15, 2013. Also preceded by one sister, the late Ellen Murray.
She was the loving mother of David (Kathleen) Meuschke and Eric Meuschke, and grandmother of Lauren, Zachery, & Jacob Meuschke.
Lucille earned a Master's Degree in nursing from University of Pittsburgh and was a longtime Instructor of nursing at Carlow College. She loved to travel, seeing over 48 countries with her husband Paul, and especially loved her time as an overseas tour coordinator for Educational Opportunities.
Visitation was scheduled June 11 at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, with a service Wednesday, June 12 at 11 a.m. in Bakerstown United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Swineford, officiant.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Bakerstown U.M. Church, 5760 William Flynn Highway, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
