Debra L. (Howell) Snyder, 63, of Windber, the wife of the Rev. John H. Snyder, went to her Heavenly Father Aug. 29, 2014, at Windber Hospice.
Born June 16, 1951, in Meadville, daughter of John F. and Shirley M. (Roche) Howell, she was preceded in death by father and brother Robert C. Howell. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, the Rev. John H. Snyder of Windber; sons, James R. Snyder of Nanty Glo and Jeremy E. Snyder, and wife, Erin, of Port Matilda; granddaughter Jada; grandson Avry and granddaughters, Maya, Zoey and Reis. Debra also is survived by her mother, Shirley M. Howell; brother, the Rev. Daniel J. Howell and wife Linda of Guys Mills; and several nieces, nephews and cousins
Debra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved doing crafts and drawing pictures.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber, where a memorial service was held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, with the Rev. Alyce Weaver Dunn, Johnstown district superintendent, officiating. The family suggested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Windber Hospice.
