Wobrak, Rev. MIchelle

Pastor Michelle L. Wobrak, 54, of Latrobe died Monday July 28, 2014 in Excela Health, Latrobe.

She was born November 1, 1959 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Elmer and Marjorie (Hadley) Stewart. Michelle graduated from Seton Hill College and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. Beginning as a local pastor in 1998, she served at Christ UMC in Youngwood, Gethsemane UMC in Jeannette; Brush Valley, Mt. Tabor and Calvary UMCs in Indiana District. She was ordained an elder in 2005 and served the New Virginia UMC in Hermitage and Christ UMC in Erie. 
 

Michelle loved sewing, quilting and spending time with her family at the Jumonville Christian Camp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Billick. She is survived by her husband Stephen "Steve" Wobrak, son Craig Wobrak of Greensburg, daughter Ellen Wobrak of Latrobe, a brother Eric Stewart of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Saturday in the First United Methodist Church 310 Oak St. Irwin, PA from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with

Rev. David Lake officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family. Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. Jeannette, Pa was entrusted with the arrangements.
