Grace Pound Howe, widow of the late Rev. Dr. Charles Howe, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 100. Formerly of Bradenton, FL, she resided at Seneca Hills Village in Penn Hills.
Rev. Howe served Methodist churches in New Jersey, New York, West Virginia and the Pittsburgh area, retiring in 1978 after serving at Baldwin Community and Wilkinsburg South Ave. UMCs. He died in January of 2002.
Survivors include her children: Susan Grace Howe of Pittsburgh; Robert Pound Howe of Mazatlan, Mexico; Judith Howe Ingalls of Claymont, DE, and Deborah Lawson (Robert M.) Watt of Murrysville; grandchildren Joshua Robert Howe, Robert Charles Howe, Sarah Ann Howe, Catherine Ingalls Brown, David Thomas Ingalls, James Lindsey Lawson III and Kyle Robert Lawson; great- children Ellie and Drew Howe, Maddie and Kerri Brown, Benjamin Ingalls and Nolan Lawson.
Grace will be lovingly missed by all of her extended family.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Seneca Hills Village, 5350 Saltsburg Rd., Verona 15147. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity or Heifer Project
