Schott Announced as New Social Media and Visual Communications Coordinator



Jeannie Schott has been selected to join the Conference program staff as the new Visual Communication and Social Media Coordinator. She will begin December 1, 2022. 

In this role, Schott will help carry out the Conference mission of providing connection and resources to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Her primary role as the coordinator will be to manage WPAUMC social media messaging, handle layout and design of print communication, help to develop online and training video, and assist with webpage design and maintenance.

"Her extensive professional experience, deep understanding of the United Methodist Church and considerable gifts will be a blessing to our communications department and conference as a whole."

Schott has worked as  a multimedia graphics and communications specialist for a wide variety of businesses, non-profit organizations, and religious institutions for over nearly three decades. In past roles, she crafted visual messaging, managed organizational branding, and developed and produced print and digital collateral to further communications and create connections. Jeannie holds a bachelors of science degree in journalism from Ohio University and a digital design diploma from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She and her husband, Eric, live in Wexford and have two sons.
Most recently, she served as Graphic Designer and Print/Web Manager for Westminster Presbyterian Church in the South Hills, providing creative leadership and innovation in print and digital communication.
