Events held at locations other than the Convention Center will require you to provide your own transportation. You are welcome to carpool with other participants at your discretion.

Deconstruction and Cleaning - sponsored by Chosen

Participant will taking apart equipment needing to be scraped, and cleaning durable medical equipment. Maximum: 50 persons

EUMA staff and some current or former clients of the programs will help lead the tour. Tour groups of 15-20 persons will start simultaneously at each location and then rotate to the next location using your own transportation. You will receive your assigned rotation and driving directions by email in mid-May. Maximum: 45

All God’s Children Ministries Shoe Collection
(Convention Center Parking Lot)
People will help to collect and package the shoes that are donated. Maximum: 3 per hour

UMCOR Hygiene Kit Assembly - sponsored by the Western PA Conference of the UMC
(inside far end of Convention Center)
Hygiene Kits will be assembled based on the guidelines provided by UMCOR and will be distributed to various groups throughout Western Pennsylvania. There is no limit to the number of participants but we ask you to register (via the main AC Registration) so that we can provide the correct amount of material.

Shoe Drive - sponsored by EUMA and All God’s Children Ministries
Shoe Drive-The drop off location will be directly outside of the Convention Center. You will see the EUMA truck parked at the entrance with the gate open. All shoes must be delivered by 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 16. Serviceable, used shoes rubber banded together and no more than 25 pairs of shoes per garbage bag.

Diapers Sizes 4,5 and 6 - sponsored by Diaper Depot
The Erie Family Center launched the Diaper Depot diaper program on January 27, 2020. Since then, we have distributed more than 500,000 diapers and serving over 350 families per month. The Diaper Depot in Erie County is currently distributing an average of 50 diapers per month per child.
