Any United Methodist student of the Western Pennsylvania Conference who plans to enter a full-time, church-related vocation and who is in need of financial assistance to further their education may apply. The student may apply for their junior or senior year of college; graduate school year or seminary study.
Accessibility Grants are available to help local churches make improvements in their buildings and culture that will enhance the ability of persons with disabilities to be more fully included in worship and in the life of the congregation.

Methodist congregations and cooperative efforts in program funding
The board of Higher Education awards scholarships each year, funded by gifts from those members of the Western PA Conference who had a vision to help further the education of students in the conference. In 2022, every student that applied for a scholarship was awarded some monies to help with their undergraduate education. Deadline for submission is April 30.
