District Reading Group

Are you interested in experiencing community while at the same time deepening your perspective and contemplation?

If so, join your District Superintendent, Eric Park, at the District Reading Group—a monthly gathering of Christ-following sisters and brothers who engage in good conversation about a particular book.

THE GROUP IS OPEN TO BOTH LAITY AND CLERGY ACROSS THE DISTRICT!

The first meeting of the reading group will be at the UM Conference Center on Saturday, February 9, from 10:00 until noon.

Our book for February’s reading group is entitled “God, Improv, and the Art of Living” by MaryAnn McKibben Dana. It is a creative exploration of how a joyful life of discipleship often demands an artistic improvisation and creativity that often takes people beyond their pre-established plans.  Here is an Amazon Link to the book:

Come and be a part of this informal and engaging conversation!
