                               Spring Session 2019 dates , The studies will be held at Kane First and Russell UM Churches. They will be offered on 2 consecutive Sundays; February 10th & 17th from 2:30 – 8:00PM.
 The courses of study are as follows:
 1. Advanced Course Description:

Justice in Everyday Life”- A Look at the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, by Rev. Neal Christie. This course of study takes an in-depth look at the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church - the church's attempt to speak on contemporary issues with which it is confronted today. The book covers topics such as the following: Natural World, Social Community, Economic Community, Political Community, Biblical Foundations of the Social Principles, and Teaching the Social Principles.

 2. Basic Course Description:
We’re all called to proclaim God’s wonder and works. Answering the spiritual nudges to put faith in action and represent Christ in our daily lives present unique opportunities to serve God and neighbor. The basic course for Lay Speaking Ministries guides you to discover your gifts of caring, leading and communicating and put them to use.” We can all find a calling in one or more of these areas of ministry,” write the authors. “The church depends upon its laity to carry out its mission and purpose. Many journeys of deepening faith and service in ministry have begun with this book and class.” Sessions take you through thoughtful reflection on what it takes to make a congregation an outpost for mission and transformation February 10th & 17th Sundays Classes will be held in Kane at Kane:First and Russell UMC.
