If you want to help make a difference in the lives of children and adults through camping and retreat ministries, volunteer to visit local church councils in your area to share information  about the camping and retreat ministries program and how they can support the Deeply Rooted, Upward Reaching campaign. The campaign seeks to raise $5 million in the next five years to ensure that our facilities are in good condition and funds are available so that anyone who wants to attend camp or a retreat can do so regardless of their ability to pay. 

The training for volunteer Council Visitors will be offered in several locations. Choose one of the following: 

• June 30th, 9am-11am at UM Conference Center, Cranberry Twp
• June 30th, 2pm-4pm at Jefferson Ave UMC, Washington
• July 2nd, 6:30pm-8:30pm at First UMC, Punxsutawney
• July 6th, 6:30pm-8:30pm at Edinboro UMC, Edinboro
• July 14th, 9am-11am at Calvary UMC, Somerset
• July 14th, 2pm-4pm at Nanty Glo UMC, near Ebensburg
• July 17th, 3pm-5pm at Olmsted Manor, Ludlow
