About Belmont U M Church
Belmont UMC is located in the Richland area of the city of Johnstown. We are a loving church with a family atmosphere. Our mission statement is to strive to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to bring people into a saving relationship with him; nurture the spiritual growth of the congregation and serve as Christ would in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of our community and world.
Belmont has historically been a mission-minded congregation contributing to both local and global mission projects, everything from our local food bank to United Methodist missionaries around the world. The one constant for many years has been Operation Christmas Child. Our church fills hundreds of shoeboxes every year as well as serves as a local collection center for organizations to bring their shoe boxes. We look forward to increasing our contribution to this wonderful cause every year.

Physical Accessibility
There is an accessible Restroom on the lower level of our building. We have elevator and ramp access to the main and lower levels. The balcony is not accessible, but is not used for seating. Our video and sound equipment is located in the balcony area. We also have classrooms there for children and youth. We have handicap parking and entrances.
