About West Bedford Cooperative Parish
The West Bedford Cooperative Parish consists of churches in the western part of Bedford County in the Johnstown District. The churches are: Alum Bank, Buffalo Mills, Helixville, Mount Union, New Paris: First, Pine Grove, Point, and Sloans Hollow. They all are passionate about sharing God’s love and saving grace to all the surrounding communities. Even before the cooperative parish was formed, they worked together in ministry and mission, supporting Rise Against Hunger, holding joint confirmation classes and joint youth activities, etc. The congregations are excited to intentionally cooperate in ministry together for the Kingdom of God. The pastoral team of Kendra Balliet, John Balliet and Clyde Lasure will bring enthusiasm and stability to the cooperative parish. They look forward to what God has in store for them.
