About Whitaker U M Church
Whitaker UMC is located in Whitaker, Pa. The church has approximately twenty to twenty-five people worshipping on an average Sunday. In 2019 The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is renting our downstairs with a pre-school program for the ages of three to five years old. The time of our Sunday Service is 9:15 a.m. Traditional Worship is offered. The people of Whitaker are friendly and have open hearts to serve. Since COVID our Prayer Ministry continues to pray together every day at noon. A devotional is given each day with prayer requests and updated answers to prayers. Approximately twenty of the laity join together.
The Women's group called the Yams was dismantled this year because of COVID and other reasons. However, Zoom is still in progress at the service time.
