About Trinity U M Church

Trinity United Methodist Church of Ridgway, PA is now and always has been a core member of the community.  Located across the street from the prestigious Elk County Courthouse, we hold a prime location in our town.   Our congregation is small, but we enjoy fellowship with one another and with our community by organizing fundraising dinners and lunches, pumpkin roll sale, Easter egg sale, and a free annual community picnic. Our children are offered a scholarship to Wesley Woods.  We offer a meal program to members recently released from the hospital.  We have participated in Operation Christmas Child, other Christmas gift opportunities, and members volunteering to ring the bell for The Salvation Army Red Kettle.  We have several members who actively participate in Rotary.  Members help out with VBS and a backpack giveaway program through The Salvation Army.   We offer Sunday services at 9:00 am with Sunday School to follow.  After church, coffee and donuts are served during the Hour of Grace.  The women’s exercise class and bible study is very popular with ladies in and outside our congregation.  Bible study classes are periodically offered.  Ridgway is a lovely small town offering lots of opportunities for recreation and fun.  The Clarion River is booming in the summer with kayakers, canoers and campers.  The Rails to Trails offers an excellent place to walk, run or ride a bike along the river.  There are multiple festivals held throughout the summer sponsored by various groups and organizations including the annual Ridgway Volunteer Firemen’s carnival and parade.
