About First U M Church
The mission of the First United Methodist Church of Reynoldsville is to be Christ’s hands, heart, and life in our church and community, ministering not only to our members, but showing concern to all as Jesus would. FUMC Reynoldsville is actively engaged in missions, both on the local and global scale, including a weekly TLC meal prepared and delivered to folks in need of a little “TLC”, active engagement with and support of the Helping Hands Community Food Pantry, annual donations of clean-up kits and hygiene kits to the Eastbrook Mission Barn, an active “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” committee which sponsors “Project Warm Up” every year and provides winter coats, hats, and gloves to about 100 children in the Reynoldsville community every year, as well as other “helping” projects. There are two weekly worship services every Sunday: a Morning Light Service with communion at 8:15 AM and a Traditional Service at 10:45 AM. FUMC Reynoldsville has been live-streaming its Traditional Service every week since March 15, 2020 and is working to expand its online ministry presence with a Social Media Evangelism Committee.
