Congregations of the Western PA Conference know the importance of strengthening Christ-focused foundations of all disciples.
One way we nurture this personal growth is through the programs and facilities of our four camps and retreat center. Olmsted Manor, Wesley Woods, Camp Allegheny, and Jumonville are all dedicated to serving the diverse population of Western PA by offering unique experiences for connecting with God, having fun, and developing spiritual maturity in a natural setting.
Camp Allegheny, near Somerset, PA, offers campers excitement, energy and experience in the outdoors. Come to a camp where faith is lived out!
This is Wesley Woods: rustic adventure with the comforts of home, located in Grand Valley, PA. Wesley Woods deepens your spiritual connection as you encounter God through fellowship and worship.
Wilderness canoe tripping is a great way to experience God's presence in the beauty of his creation and in the fellowship of teamwork and adventure together.
Join us as we paddle along lakes and rivers, camp on the shoreline, and learn about Jesus around the campfire. Previous canoeing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Canoeing and camping equipment, meals, and transportation are included.
New this year, we are offering a shorter experience on the Clarion River for youth ages 11-16. The northern wilderness trip will be to New York or Ontario and is for adults and youth 15 and older (14 with approval of leaders). If travel conditions allow for Ontario, then participants 19 and older must have a passport. Cost for Clarion River Trip is $160. Cost for Northern Wilderness Trip is $450 for participants under 18 and $475 for adults
