During the past 14+ months we have all been living in unprecedented times, often forced to figure out new ways to do ministry and keep our operations running smoothly to serve our constituencies without interruption.
At times it has felt overwhelming, as if everything that is happening is hitting us at the same time. And while the word cloud below is not comprehensive, it may have felt at times that we were carrying the weight and burden of these things all at once.
At times it may have felt that we were awash in a sea of chaos, that there is no consistency, and we are constantly adapting and changing to the circumstances that surround us.
And while that is true, there is one constant - - Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 13:8 tells us “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”. Hallelujah and Amen to that!!
So as you go about your business, take time to pause, to quiet the noise around you, to breath and to remind yourself that while the world changes around us, our fundamental purpose - - to deliver our ministries and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world - - is unchanged.
