For our 2023 Annual Conference meeting, offerings will be taken during the Ordination & Commissioning Service on Thursday, June 15th; and again during the Plenary Session on Friday, June 16th. Regardless of whether you can attend the 2023 Annual Conference in person, you have the ability to donate to this special offering through this page.
The offering from the Ordination & Commissioning Service will go to support the Bishop's Discretionary Fund, and the offering from the Plenary Session will go to support the Deeply Rooted, Upward Reaching Camping & Retreat Ministries Campaign.
New for 2023, you can also make a donation to support this year's Mission Impact Project. Your gift will help defray the costs of the Hyegiene Kits that will be assembled on Thursday morning (June 15th).

As some local churches have discerned that their path forward is to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church, this page has been established to allow individuals to contribute to directly to the Western PA Annual Conference to support its ministries going forward, and in particular, the ministry provided by Lighthouse Congregations.
Lighthouse Congregations are local churches in the Western PA Conference that are particularly equipped to welcome anyone whose church has closed or disaffiliated and who wish to remain in the United Methodist Church. These congregations will act as a resting place for those seeking a new United Methodist faith community, with people who will care for and provide a haven of peace and grace.
Giving to this Lighthouse Ministries Fund is also available for those who wish to support ministry initiatives that will seek to provide a variety of new new United Methodist faith communities. Areas without a current United Methodist presence in Western Pennsylvania will especially be impacted and blessed by your donations.

The Deeply Rooted, Upward Reaching Campaign was announced at the June 2017 Annual Conference and officially launched in 2018 with a goal of raising $5 million for our Conference’s camping and retreat ministries. This campaign is investing in the facilities and infrastructure of our camping and retreat sites. It is also providing immediate funding to make programs more accessible to everyone and is providing the beginning of a long-term endowment to keep these ministries affordable and available to all.
This site has been established as one avenue to financially support this strategic undertaking.
Individuals and external organizations can make an online contribution using their bank account or credit card by clicking the brown button below.
Churches wishing to donate to the campaign from their budget (not remittance of an individual’s donation) can also contribute online; however, they should continue to use the Local Church Remittances page (green button below).
For more information on how to remit donations received from your congregation, see the Congregational Giving Instructions
