Youth Mission u

Youth Mission u is a mission camp for youth in grades 6-12. Youth stay in dorms at  California University of PA, participate in various hands-on mission projects in the California area, learn, experience innovative intergenerational worship and have fun. 


Middle and high school youth do a variety of hands-on projects, including building ramps to make homes accessible and helping with summer feeding programs for children. 

Youth in grades 11 or 12 also have the option to assist with the Children’s Mission u school or do childcare. 
The study focus for Youth Mission u is Climate Justice.

From July 21-24,Youth Mission u overlaps Mission u for adults and children. All three programs are jointly sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Conference and the United Methodist Women. Families are encouraged to attend.
