We will start our week with some great team building and a little climbing, then it's non stop adventure. A little cavinga little sliding, a lot of water!! You know I love my Yough! We will canoe, we will duckie, we will swim and play. Throw in some biking and a day of fun at Ohiopyle...who could ask for anything more? Don't forget that great Falls Market ice cream. A great week of Christian fellowship and fun. Can't wait, canoe? Ohhhhhhh..

Wondering what you can expect from a week of camp with Karen and Duda as your dean? Fun, fun, & some more fun! Did I mention fun? Your dean, Karen will make sure you have an adventure filled week. We'll spend time in learning from the Word of God everyday (in fun ways like doing skits for example.) Worship will also be a part of our week. We will get to spend time learning how to work together as a team on the low ropes course and spend a day out rock climbing. We'll also plan on some caving. And that's STILL not ALL the FUN we are going to have during our week together!!! This event is currently scheduled to be in Maple Cabin. That could change, but more than likely that's where we will be staying.

You’ll also get an opportunity to explore God’s creation in the annual Adventure Race around the entire Jumonville site! There are other surprises as well. Come ready for adventure! Let an awesome week of Adventure Camp be one of the best weeks of your summer. Throughout the week you’ll get to do some really exciting adventure activities as well as hiking. We will spending some time at Ohiopyle, which is conveniently nearby. You’ll also be using Jumonville’s many on campus adventure facilities. Event J158 is currently scheduled to be in Pine Cabin. That could change, but more than likely that's where we will be staying.

This Adventure Camp allows you to experience whitewater rafting on the Lower Yough, and the "bum slides" at nearby Ohiopyle. Exciting on-site adventures include low and high ropes courses, the Adventure Center, the King Swing and mountainboards. Off-site trips include a day to rock climb at Greenbriar and camping. Join us for a week of high adventure and a journey with God. We are planning to add an overnight camping trip this year. This event is currently scheduled to be in Oak Cabin. That could change, but more than likely that's where we will be staying. This camp is an ideal prerequisite for Sr. High Challenge. It is not required but can be very helpful.

Join us for this exciting adventure as we enjoy a variety of your favorite camp activities. This is a brand new adventure camp that will be staying on site at Jumonville all week (thus the name Adventure Base Camp). Staying on-site is what makes this adventure camp more affordable that many other Jumonville adventure camps (that have to pay for transportation to off-site activities and also pay additional fees to the outfitters). We have a ton of adventure activities that we can do without leaving the Jumonville grounds. The week will include cookouts, ropes course, swimming, games, mountain boards, Commitment Swing, Rescue Basket Teambuilding Course, bouldering and plenty of campfires with Bible study! The best part of this camp is the youth and excitement of the counselors. We have an energetic group of young adults that are fully devoted to the Lord and want to help campers at Jumonville grow in their understanding of Christ through interactive bible studies with life application combined with a variety of adventure activities.

Join Brandon & Duffy for the crown jewel of the Jumonville Adventure Program. This camp is led by one of Jumonville’s most experienced adventure teams to insure a high caliber and challenging adventure experience. The week combines elements of rock climbing, biking, whitewater rafting, and more, including a trip to Seneca Rocks, WV. Previous climbing experience preferred but not required. Sr. High Adventure campers will enjoy whitewater on the Stonycreek or Yough, learn and use top-rope belaying techniques on our indoor rock wall and real rock faces, and have more advanced instruction and challenges throughout the week. Climbing at Coopers Rock in West Virginia is always a highlight.

Are you thirsty for challenge and adventure? If the answer is yes, join us for a week of canoeing and camping in the lakes, rivers, and forests of Ontario's Algonquin Park, where you will see abundant wildlife and stunning scenery. Prior canoeing and camping experience is helpful, but not necessary. You must be able to swim. Special note: Crossing the border into Canada requires citizenship documents. Adults need passports, but minors up to 18 years old may use a birth certificate. Check with deans for more information.

Spend a week honing your photography skills! Professional photographer Alan Freed will lead a fun week that will help you take better pictures, no matter what your current skill level is. We’ll learn how black and white film is processed, and how digital photography has evolved from those days of film. Campers will learn how to properly compose and expose photos, and how to make the best use of depth of field. We’ll shoot new subjects every day, and we’ll review and discuss our photos nightly. And I promise we’ll have a blast doing it! Campers should bring along their own digital cameras. In addition to our photography work, we’ll set aside time for traditional camp activities like worship, volleyball, campfires and time at the swimming pool.

6/16 - 6/22 (6) Rock the Mountain MUSIC Camp (J270) Creative-Performing Arts Jumonville 12-15 $373 Lombardi
Rock the Mountain Music Camp is a place where musicians come together to form a modern Christian rock band in a week"s time. Campers will learn and perform new Christian Rock music as well as old standards with a new twist. Guitarists, singers, bass players, keyboardists, and drummers are all invited. Some experience is recommended but not necessary. Each day, campers will work on their individual music skills, practice as a group, and also look into how modern Christian music can be used to bring us closer to God. Traditional camp activities like Bible study, hiking, swimming, and campfires, are also part of the daily routine. Drums and keyboards will be provided. All other musicians are asked to bring their own instruments, acoustic or electric. Ages 12 - 15

Interested in Dance Camp but not quite old enough? Then join us for Dance II, a shorter dance camp experience for younger dancers! During our event, campers will follow a schedule filled with dance class, traditional camp activities like swimming, Bible study, and teambuilding, and of course, FUN! Dance class will be spent working with experienced teachers to learn new dance skills, preparing a dance to show family and friends, and most importantly, using our gifts to bring glory to God through dance. Jesus Adventure and Me: A week JAM-packed with adventures and activities adapted especially for youth and adults (age 14-99) with developmental disabilities. Activities will include Rafting, ropes course, Adventure Center, archery, tent camping, hiking, cookouts, games, bible lessons and more! Outings will include a 7 mile float trip down the Yough River, and a day trip to Ohiopyle for swimming, picnicking, and hiking. All activities will be adapted to meet each camper’s individual skills and abilities by trained, qualified volunteers. Most importantly, at JAM camp, through Bible Study, song, and prayer, campers will learn and grow in their relationship with Christ. Campers must be able to care for their basic needs (showering, toileting and eating) with minimal assistance and must be able to conduct themselves in a positive manner.

Are you ready to enjoy an adventurous week with your child or children? Then, this is the camping experience for you! Blessed to be on the mountaintop at Jumonville, you will have the opportunity to grow in your faith in Jesus Christ, deepen your relationships within your family, make new friends or strengthen existing friendships. Along with Bible study and worship, we will enjoy climbing, hiking, swimming, mountain boards and games. We will also spend some time at Ohiopyle paddling rafts on the flat water section of the Yough River, sliding down the natural water slides and hiking to Cucumber Falls.
