We are pleased to announce our new health care provider in 2012 for all active employees and retirees under age 65 will be UPMC, the effective date of this change over will be 01/01/2012. This plan will replace our current Highmark PPO blue plan. This plan is for all active employees, retired clergy and spouses who are under age 65 and does not affect anyone who is retired and over age 65.
2012 Freedom Blue rates for retirees
- High option 199969 $180.00 cost to retiree for 2012 (per person)
- Low option 193127 $106.00 cost to retiree for 2012 (per person)
UPMC rates for 2012 will be the same as our current 2011 health care rates - $1,240.00. This is for Active employees / subscribers under age 65
Pre-82 Retirement Benefits PSR for 2012
By action of Annual Conference 2011, the 2012 Past Service Rate ("PSR") for Pre-1982 pensions shall be $540, representing 1.001% of the WPAUMC's Conference Average Compensation (CAC).
