 Grace I. Shaffer, 85, of Greensburg, wife of the Rev. Jay F. Shaffer, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. She was born Sept. 19, 1925, in New Bethlehem, a daughter of the late Frank and Lula Mae (Crawford) Bish. She was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Youngwood. Grace had a simple faith. She would say, "God said it, I believe it, that settles it."
