Brown, whom she married on September 22, 1942. Admitted as a probationary member of the Western Pennsylvania Conference 1985 and ordained a full elder in 1989, she served Pittsburgh Buena Vista and Bell Chapel UMCs from 1985-87, and Houston UMC from 1987-93.
