Did you ever read a news story and wish that you could share your opinion to praise, agree or politely disagree with the subject of the article? Well, the WPAUMC Website has introduced a new interactive feature just for you!

As of Wednesday, March 24, 2010, you will be able to post YOUR comments to individual news stories and blog entries.

At the bottom of any news article, or blog entry, you will now see a button inviting you to post your comments (look at the bottom of this news article for an example).

When you click on the "Post Comment" button, you will be asked to enter your name, email address (don't worry, your email address will NOT be displayed on the website), and your specific comments. You can also choose to be notified, via email, of comments from other people by clicking the "Notify me of follow-up comments" box.

Please note! Comments are moderated, so there will be a slight delay between the time that you submit your comments and when they appear on the site. Comments that include profanity or other inappropriate language, or that personally attack other readers, will not be posted.

So, what do you think about this new feature? You can let everyone know by posting your comments below! We hope to hear from you often.

I love the interactive nature of comments. We can dialogue from anywhere in the Western PA Conference or WORLD! I just hope that United Methodists and anyone who reads a wpaumc.org news article or blog will take the opportunity to engage through comments.

Let's see how well we dialogue together.

Why is it that we cannot disagree without getting ugly about it?
