Hot Metal Moves to Former Bar

Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community recently moved in to a new location on the South Side of Pittsburgh - a former bar! Reversing a trend of closing churches to become restaurants, clubs and even taverns, the progressive congregation has found a new home on a busy corner in a former restaurant and tavern. The United Methodist and Presbyterian (USA) faith community has grown quickly in a few years of existence through its community-based ministries and worship with a flair for drama. When recently forced to move from a leased space on the South Side, the restaurant presented a high-profile, ideal location for the church.
