Crowd gathering at the future site of the Habitat for Humanities House in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
On March 15 at the Market Street lot in Mercer, a crowd of approximately 45 to 50, gathered with Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton to mark the beginning of the ambitious project to build a house for a Mercer family in one week during the 2008 Annual Conference. United Methodist dollars and volunteers support the Habitat for Humanity Mercer County project.
The UM Habitat House will be "blitz-built" during Annual Conference 2008, which meets at Grove City College, June 12-15.
